How it works
- 1

- 2

We rebuild the structure as GitHub-flavored Markdown in memory on our servers. Nothing is written to disk.
- 3

Preview the result, copy it, or download the .md file. Extracted images arrive in a .zip.
Questions
- Does it work on scanned PDFs?
- Not yet. The free converter reads the PDF's text layer. OCR for scanned documents is planned for the Pro plan.
- How are tables handled?
- Rows whose text lines up in columns are rebuilt as Markdown tables. Complex merged-cell tables may need a manual tidy.
- Why are there page markers?
- Each page ends with an HTML comment so you can find your place. Pick the LLM prompt preset to strip them.
