Questions

Are headings and lists kept?
Yes. Word heading styles become # headings, bullet and numbered lists become Markdown lists, and tables become GitHub-flavored tables.
What happens to images?
By default an italic placeholder marks where each image was. Turn on Extract images to receive the image files in an images/ folder, linked from the Markdown.
Does it handle tracked changes and comments?
Tracked changes are accepted by default. Choose Show tracked changes to see deletions struck through and insertions marked. Comments and footnotes become Markdown footnotes.
